Whit and Katie flew to New York to visit Whit's sister. They enjoyed a girls day/night before daddy arrived. After flying across the country (on crappy US Airways with no food), they walked for a bit and then headed to the neighborhood standby watering hole, The Half King.
Whit enjoyed a
Greenport Harbor Leaf Pile, which was basically a delicious blast of fall (nutmeg) in a glass.
Followed by a salmon burger and a Post Road Pumpkin Ale by Brooklyn Brewery. Both were delicious. What a great start to a long weekend vacation!
