Today we celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary. Time does fly when you're having fun...or maybe it's just once you have kids that time flies even faster. Who knows?!? Either way, it's been a wonderful 3 years and I truly believe that we've both loved every minute.
To celebrate the big day, we shared a Conflux Series No. 2 brewed by Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon AND Boulevard Brewing Co in Kansas City, Missouri. Whaaaaaaaaaat? Yes, you read that right. It is a combination of the Boulevard Ale and White IPA. To quote the bottle, "the conflux series is where we unite with fellow craft beer zealots separated by distance, but not passion, to create unlikely, one-time-only collaborations."
Rankings (1 to 5):
Scott: since we shared it, he claims he had too many flavors in his mouth to accurately judge the flavor. He wants more in order to form an opinion...but we don't have any more.
Whit: I give it a 4. Very good. Not an IPA fan but this made it easy to drink an IPA, even if it was mixed with an Ale that I like normally.
