A Final Cheers for Sally

We lost our beloved yellow Lab, Sally this week.  For the past 7.5 years, she was a fabulous companion, devoted family dog and a wonderful addition to our family.  She loved hiking, beer, steak and belly rubs.

In her honor, we popped the cork on this delicious Detour Double IPA by Uinta Brewing Co. in Salt Lake City, Utah and toasted to Sally one last time.  We hope are able to chase cats, lick your bottom, eat steak, hike without getting thorns in your paws and rest in peace forever in doggie heaven.  We miss you.

P-p-p-p-p-poker face

Sale beer?  Sure, why not.  This was the Four in Hand IPA by World Brews in Novato, California.

A long lost favorite

I forgot how much I really like Boddingtons Pub Ale.  A great way to welcome in the cooler temps.

Suburban suds

After doing our fair share of yard work, garage cleaning and other awesome domestic suburban chores, we took a break to enjoy the weather and cracked open an Epicenter American Amber Ale by our local brewery, Santan Brewing Company in Chandler, Arizona.

Santan Brewing Company opened in 2007 and seemed to jumpstart the downtown Chandler business growth...for which we suburbanites are thankful. They've recently started selling cans in local grocery stores, which is pretty rad.  And as with Four Peaks, their french fries are killer.
